In the summer France is invaded with thousands of tourists, not suprisingly as the weather in France is wonderful from april to october (normally!!) Nearly every village in France has a market at least once every week. In the bigger villages the market is the main event. Hundreds of markets traders just work in the summer months in France. Then take the rest of the year off, as they have made their income for the year in just 5-6 months.
